Robert is an EXCEPTIONAL TB specimen who last raced in late 2025 and has thoughtfully and carefully restarted. He shows potential for an upper level career but is kind enough for an ammy or junior.  Currently, Robert is showing successfully at 3’ with a junior and would excel in the jumper or hunter ring. He has an easy, automatic lead change.

 

He has had plenty of off property miles with xc schooling and schooling shows. He won third in the meter last weekend!  Robert is never one to refuse a jump or hesitate and is very willing. He does best with a rider who is quiet in the hands and doesn’t pull into jumps.  He has schooled off property up to 3’6, and closer to 3’9 at home.  He has an amazing jump and never refuses.

 

On top of being a lovely uphill ride and a confidence builder in the ring, Robert is also a very sweet and kind boy with a puppy dog personality and a lot of love to give. He has excellent ground manners and overall is just a good boy. We see Robert being well suited for a confident junior or amateur rider looking for a more athletic ride. He is forward, but not spooky or bolty.

 

He is a mild cribber when stalled for long periods of time, but this is easily controlled with a collar or ample turnout.  He has a good PPE with tons of xrays from earlier this year (2026) that the owner is happy to share with serious buyers.

 

Robert is just a very kind, goofy, typical bay gelding personality boy looking for his next partner in crime!
