Spare a Dime by Mastery (Candy Ride) out of a Distorted Humor mare

Located at Belterra until 8/17, then Burlington Ky (near Turfway)

 

Dime is a hard knocking mare who has done right by her owner so now her owner wants to make sure she is done right by.  She is ALL heart with a great personality- she LUVS SNACKS (esp black licorice), hand grazing, baths, drinking from the hose and being spoiled.  Very smart girl who has been loved by her owners.  She loves to be the center of attention like the princess she is👑

 

Last raced 7/5, was in training until just a few days ago.  Earner of over $100k in 36 starts.  She is half to G3 horse and out of a black type winning stakes mare.

 

Dime is UTD on everything, even teeth.  She has osselets in her front ankles- ugly but never change and don’t bother her.  She raced on those same ankles for at least three years.  Owner has xrays from past three years if you want them.  She is retiring sound with no vices.

 

Like all good racehorse, Dime has good ground manners and is good for vet/farrier/hauling/baths, etc.  She is an easy keeper for a TB (people have even called her fat <gasp>) 😆

 

Due to her pedigree/success, Dime’s owners would like to see her be a broodmare, BUT are not opposed to riding home, if you don’t mind the ankles.  She likes to work and be ridden.  No buck/bolt/rear.  GOOD HOME A MUST MUST MUST!
