Muse retired off the track mid-2024 after 16 starts. Muse came to us spring of 2025 through his original rehoming connections. Muse was re-started by an ammie under the guidance of a trainer. He is currently WTC and started over small fences.

 

Muse has a LOVELY uphill way of going, an absolutely dreamy canter and a lovely, correct jump. Muse has field tripped off property several times and has proven to take everything in stride and has not been fazed by the horse show hustle bustle. He is brave. He has a big step. He has lovely manners.

 

He can turnout with others without issue. Muse is currently barefoot. Muse is with us to find his next partner as his ammie mom wants to put her focus into an RRP eligible mount. Muse would do best in a program that can offer him consistency - while he is a very chill horse, at times he will ask the question - do I really have to work? It comes in the form of losing forward momentum and trying to stop - which has been very easily corrected by moving his feet and he will continue on happily (in the video).

 

A solid riding adult or junior working with a trainer that can set positive boundaries would be his best fit. He is a mild cribber at feeding time, which is controlled with a collar. A lovely guy who could easily hit the show scene this spring as the majority of the re-start has been done. He just needs continuing education and someone willing to give him the consistency he needs.
