Moon is an absolutely adorable,unraced TB mare that stands a solid 15.3h. She is currently barefoot and a pretty easy keeper. Moon came via TRAAC where her racing connections decided her training was better focused off the racetrack.

 

Moon is a very simple and straightforward ride - she has a lovely way of going, a very natural rhythm and balance and picks up on things rather quickly. Moon has been lightly restarted undersaddle and already has a lovely WTC. She is more whoa than go but carries her own motor. She has great brakes. She will be introduced to small fences soon. She has hacked out and seemed to really enjoy activities outside of the ring. She is the definition of 'in your pocket' - she truly wants to be with her human all the time.

 

Great for the vet and farrier. Turns out in a mixed herd. Moon truly wants to please and will absolutely flourish with her person. Moon suitable for a junior or ammie working with a trainer. Moon does crib during feeding time but controlled with a collar. No known injuries or unsoundnesses- does have one slight club hoof that doesn’t impact her.

 

She is a nice, big bodied, sturdy girl who could also go onto a broodmare home.  She is by Paynter (by Awesome Again) out of a Capote (by Seattle Slew!) mare.
