This guy would be the most fabulous fox hunting or trail mount for a young rider or adult amateur! He is not spooky, and loves to be out on the trails. He will w,t,c in arena and he is started over cross rails and logs. Although still on the greener side, there is not a bad bone in his body and he is SAFE to pull out and go anywhere, anytime regardless of being in regular work or not. He crosses anything you point him at and has great stamina.

 

His tail was unfortunately chewed off by a pasture mate but will continue to grow. Sturgis is barefoot and will be anyone’s best friend upon meeting horse or human.

 

Suitable for guests, husbands, wives, and complete beginners. You can pony off of him, he enjoys obstacles and seems to enjoy jumping. He’s always in a good mood, loves to learn, and will put a smile on your face every ride with his sweet disposition. Great for vet, farrier, spa day, trailering, tying ect.
