Alfie has been out of work since November as his owner has made some life changes and doesn't have the time to dedicate to a green TB.
Pros:
- Alfie has a darling personality with great manners.
- Alfie's riding education has been brought along slowly and correctly working directly with a trainer - he understands basic lateral movements, he has a lovely way of going, natural changes and overall is just a very quick study.
- Alfie has off property experience at the local show series in 2024 - where he took in the sights, schooled in the rings and even horse showed both on the flat and over 18" courses.
- Alfie has very rhythmic, adjustable gaits and a lovely jump.
- Alfie enjoys having a purpose and thrives on consistency.

- Alfie is a quick study, which also means that you need to keep him focused and thinking as he can get distracted which can lead to spooking.
- Alfie does best in a consistent program under a trainer - his current mom is a bit timid and he has picked up on that. Which then he loses focus and his attention goes elsewhere.
- Alfie's best fit would be a savvy rider that is seeking a hunter or dressage mount (we think this is where his calling is). He would be a good budget trainer project or for an advanced amateur or junior looking for a fancy ride.
- Alfie has not been in work. He has been hanging out in a field and growing up. We do not have any current riding videos of him and will likely not get any current riding videos of him.
Alfie is being 'offered' as a project that has been out of work since November 2024. Videos and photos are as of 3/3/25 - conformation, free movement, lunge and a quick WT undersaddle video. Alfie was happy and willing to participate and remembered a lot from his education prior to his vacation. Alfie is currently UTD on shots, dental and coggins. He goes best in front shoes. No vices. He does sport an old splint on his RH which poses no issue.
Alfie's mom is hoping to find him a suitable home at a very reduced price vs having to send him off to a trainer to get him going again. His mom is motivated and negotiable for an uncomplicated, quick and easy sale!
